1975
*1 August 1975 – Joseph Toland (78) and James Marks (43), both Catholics, were shot during a loyalist attack on a minibus near Gilford. Marks, owner of the bus company, died on 7 January 1976.
*31 December 1975 - Sylvia McCullough (31), Richard Beattie (32) and William Scott (34), all Protestant civilians, were killed in a People’s Republican Army bomb attack on the Central Bar, Gilford.
1976
*4 January 1976 - Barry O'Dowd (24), Declan O'Dowd (19) and Joseph O'Dowd (61), all Catholic civilians and members of the Social Democratic and Labour Party, were shot dead during an Ulster Volunteer Force gun attack on their home, Ballydougan, near Gilford.
